PROOFREADER/WRITER

We are looking for AMERICAN/ CANADIAN/ BRITISH NATIVE SPEAKERS IN THE PHILIPPINES, who can work FULL-TIME as a PROOFREADER/WRITER in our office. You will be in charge of ensuring that all articles are free of errors,  concise, consistent, and grammatically and factually correct. This also involves editing and ensuring that texts are engaging and accessible

SALARY: Earn as much as P40,000 - P60,000

Responsibilities:

• Must have an excellent eye for detail and fluid command of English language and grammar.

• Must be comfortable managing multiple projects under tight deadlines

• Proofread all submitted articles from the writers

• Write error-free, engaging, grammatically and factually correct articles

• Prioritize projects against schedule

• Strong communication skills with ability to work in a team environment

• Strong attention to detail, self-starter, a positive attitude and collaborative personality

• Rewording/reworking sentences or whole sections of text if necessary

• Making copy with standard proofreading marks to notify us of necessary changes

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree

• Has an experience with proofreading and news writing

• Fluid command of English language and grammar

• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to accuracy

• Proficient understanding of editorial principles and proofreading

• Must be able to adhere to style guides and uphold brand identity

• Able and eager to meet deadlines
